Last week I featured a video of Bluetooth Low Energy being used for MIDI, in place of WiFi. This week reader Mikkel Gravgaard wrote in to tell me about his own experiments! Instead of running the Bluetooth through an additional device, he's got it going straight from his iPhone 4S into his Mac Book Air.

This is really promising, even if the latency isn't all that much better than WiFi, it is certainly a lot easier to set up than an Ad Hoc WiFi network! Developers interested in his developments can watch his Github page.
