Non-App Deals

Sunsine Audio
Everything is on sale! This includes the iOS Preset Subscription service, which has now been extended to 4 months. That is every preset they make for the next 4 months, for just $17.99!
DJ Techtools
DJ Techtools has a lot of gear on sale for 15% off, but they also have a 5% off coupon: DJTTBlackFriday112612
This is a great opportunity to pick up some of the new toys like the QuNeo or MIDI Fighter 3D. With the combined sale and coupon this is also the cheapest place to get the Teenage Engineering OP-1!
Native Instruments
Not even remotely related to apps or mobile music, but if you have a DAW and even a little bit of interest in computer music making, you should seriously consider some of these deals. 50% off their virtual Instruments and Traktor Pro 2!
Moog (US Only)
Moog is having a 10% off sale, and all orders over $250 get a free expression pedal. Use coupon code: turkeymoog
This brings the price of the Minitaur down to almost $600, or the mighty Minimoog Voyager XL to $4,500! If you've already mastered the iMS-20 and want to try your hands at a modern semi-modular, this is probably worth skipping a few mortgage payments for.
Sweetwater
Among the many deals over at Sweetwater, they have the Alesis iO Dock for $99, plus a free iO Dock bag!
Amazon
In addition to their ongoing lightning deals on their Black Friday Music Instrument page, they have some nice individual deals going on. Like the Korg Monotribe for just $165, which I believe is the lowest price I've ever seen for this little box. They also have the iO Dock for $99, but they want $40 for the carrying bag.

Dishonorable Mentions

Alex over at iDesignSound pointed out a peculiar price change from Rob Wilmot's apps. Both Tic Tac Beatz Electro and Drumatron increased in price yesterday by $1, then came down to their usual prices today. This has the effect of looking like a sale, while giving an emphatic "Fuck you!" to today's bargain hunters.

Audiobus co-developer Sebastian Dittmann has released a new demo video! This time FunkBox and Sunrizer are going into NLog, applying NLog's effects before sending the audio out to Loopy HD for recording. Fun stuff!

Buy Sunrizer on iTunes: $4.99

Buy Loopy HD on iTunes: $7.99

Digitech iStomp Review

Sonic State's Amped took a deep look at Digitech's iStomp, the customizable stomp pedal which uses your iOS Device to manage and download new DSP effects. Amazon has the iStomp for $129, but Sweetwater has a deal on 3 for $300.

Video Description:

Murph takes a look at the Digitech iStomp pedal - you can squirt any of the 44 stompbox models from your iPhone into this and play.

Tutorial: Play Gangnam Style with iFretless - Part 2

Blue Mangoo Software concludes its Gangnam Style tutorials, using Sunrizer for the lead. This includes a Sunrizer patch, available for download below. Be sure to check out Part 1, which uses NLog for the bass.

Echo Pad Update

Holderness Media have released the first update for Echo Pad, adding lots of new features. It is also on sale!

New features:

  • New scratch loopers! In addition to the main looper, these new mini loopers allow you to quickly record a loop and manipulate the playback speed/direction by dragging. These loopers are also routed back through the FX, so you can further manipulate the sound after the loop is recorded.
  • NEW delay type: Fall (echoes cascade down in pitch with each repeat)
  • Enable/Disable audio input. Use this to turn off external audio input when playing back and processing audio from the pasteboard.
  • Toggle background audio on/off.
  • added audio metronome

Improvements:

  • improved slider response
  • improved BPM detection when setting BPM from first loop
  • reverb improved
  • changed font of control labels for better legibility

Buy Echo Pad on iTunes: $1.99 (On Sale, from $2.99)
