Let's Play with SynthScaper

I think I finally pronounced Igor Vasiliev correctly in this week's Let's Play! I'm so proud of this one... I mean the video itself is good, but I'm really proud of getting his name right. I hate it when my fellow Americans casually butcher other peoples' names. That's not cool. With the MidiFire tutorial below, this is a Tim Double Feature!

Video Description:

SoundScaper is one of my favorite "experimental" sound design apps, and SynthScaper builds that into a more practical synth app! Hey thanks for doing the "let's Play" for Synthscaper, that was great. I picked up some good tips so I appreciate that. I know what you mean about the manual, it makes it hard to understand things and even focus on the words when you feel like Latka from Taxi did the translation. I've going to use Synthscaper to create a soundtrack for a goofy movie I shot this summer with my nephew using green army men and Zombies, it'll perfect for that. Cheers RJB

@RJB: Yes! I don't think you can use this without making a soundtrack! I didn't intend to, but somewhere along the way I started making an Aliens soundtrack. I imagine it will work great if you start off with that as a goal.
Hey, thank you for this Let's Play! How about a LP with Model 15?

I keep meaning to get around to that. Over on Patreon I got a request for Zeeon. I'll put Model 15 on the list right after!

Oh no....Earlier this summer I bought a bunch of cheap Army Men and Zombies with the intent of doing a goofy movie. Oh well, so much for that original idea...LOL.

@Tim, that was a great look at this strange and wonderful app. I picked up some good hints on how better to mess with it. Cheers!
Good on you for caring to pronounce people's names correctly. :-)

Great video! This app is really fun sounding. It has a lot of stuff I couldn't quite get in other videos. This video helped a lot. It does have a certain Aliens thing about it.

I need a VST Plugin Host spp - that complies to the Steinberg VST (2, 3) specification.
So I can copy the *.DLL files from the VSTi's on my PC into a sandbox folder and run them the same as on my PC.

I know you must already be planning on doing a Let's Play With S-Modular, but you know that I did make a request for Model 15 on Patreon months ago, right? Just sayin' 😜
@Be The Noise: Yup, your Model 15 request is the next on my list!

Did you want me to bump it back and put S-Modular ahead of it?

No! Lol... I've been hoping for a LPW Model 15 since it came out!
