Surface Pro 4 - Mega Test for Music Production

Molten Music Technology did an hour long exploration of the possibilities and challenges in using a Surface Pro as your music making hub. Host Robin Vincent does an excellent job of keeping the review quite balanced!

Video Description:

I've reported about clicks and pops with audio software on the SP4 so here's all the testing I've done and solutions and workarounds I've found for music production software on the Surface Pro 4. Software under test includes: Pro Tools, Cubase, Studio One, FL Studio, Reaper, Reason, Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio.

If you just want to read my conclusions then head over to http://www.surfaceproaudio.com

Update on FL Studio - disable "ultrasmooth" animations under Options-General and it's much much better!

LOL, yeah. Robin's not fucking around. He's a good presenter though, so it's easy to watch.... but wow yeah that is a long time to sit and watch a YouTube video.

I've been boning up on the latest web programming and actually watched a 4.5 hour long MongoDB video. But I set the speed to 1.5x and watched it in small doses over the course of 4 days.
