Just bought this thinking it was the app on the main part of the screen. Really disappointing, but I should have paid more attentionI guess :(

So.... have we just been teased about an additional interface in chordup's next update? The main window looks familiar but I don't know...

It really changes nothing to the result, which (can be) is obtained using 2 devices with ChordUp on each, the main screen may actually be showing an updated version of the app. It's a shame that you're disappointed because among midi controller apps, ChordUp is one of the best.... but it's just my opinion.
And well done for the video !

Maybe we are watching different videos

The app featured in the main area of the vid seems nothing like Chordup. Chordup seems only to be able to access melody notes that come from the triad base of the chord, whereas this other app seems to have access to more notes. Also, the left hand area has no chord markings, and seemingly no access to chord variations, as though they had to be assigned beforehand. Add to that the performance (modulation/vibrato) control, and this seems more than just an alternative GUI

It might be that this added functionality is to be part of an update

Chordup seems useful, but also frustrating that the melody aspect is so limited. Furthermore, there is so much unused space, that tt seems odd that we are locked into such a small selection of chords at hand, unless you want to get all flicky about it as shown in the video

It's a start, but it's not the app I thought I was buying

In the YouTube listing he lists Chordup, Sample Tank his new app "Clawtar" were used in this video/song. I'm sure it wasn't meant to mislead but, i was fooled as well until I read the comments here and looked into it a bit more. This Clawtar foes looks interesting. @el-bo, you could get a refund from the AppStore.

@Toz - Thanks! That does make sense. Will give Chordup another couple of days to see if I dig it a bit more, otherwise I might just go for that refund
