Let's Play with ARP Odyssei by KORG

One of the things I enjoy most about Korg apps is the way they arrive, seemingly out of nowhere. When ARP Odyssei showed up earlier this month it was like an early Winter Solstice present! I jumped at this one! I think you can tell in this video that I'm having a hell of a lot of fun with it.

Video Description:

Korg brings us an app remake, of their hardware remake, of the classic ARP Odyssey synthesizer. And it is awesome! You can use it inside of Korg's Gadget app, and I do exactly that in this Let's Play! It really is a fun app. Korg is just killing it all around these days. I am hoping roland gets into iOS synth game at some point and makes some JV units.

I love the app but just like the other ones the midi implementation is really sketchy, I can't get it to work with Music IO on ableton consistently ( audio works just not midi ) and the lack of update support on the polysix and ms20 make me worry that this one will just languish without ableton link, IAA or Audiobus updates forever.

KORG YOU MAKE GREAT SOUNDING APPS, THEY ARE SOLD AT PREMIUM PRICES, YOU HAVE A HUGE COMPANY, THERE IS NO REASON THAT YOU CAN NOT MANAGE TO UPDATE THE BUGS IN YOUR APPS WHEN SMALL DEVELOPERS LIKE ELASTIC DRUMS ARE UPDATED MONTHLY.

COME ON MAN.
